First I would like to apologize for not posting the last two weeks.  It is something that I pride myself with so once again I apologize.  September is a very hectic time of the year.  A reminder that Monday, October 3rd is an early release day.  Next I wanted to take a minute and ask parents to remind our student of their attitudes and how important it is to have positive attitudes.  There have been some situations lately where negatives attitudes have affected this classroom and has taken a significantly large amount of time from the classroom.  So please talk with your students and remind them how important it is to have positive attitudes.  We are moving along in our reading series.  Next week we will be reading the story If You Made a Million dollars.  Please make sure students are reading their story every night as well as studying their vocabulary and spelling words.  We are also moving along in math.  We will be discussing comparing and ordering numbers as well as rounding.  By the end of next week or start of the next we will take our first math outcome assessment.  Below you will find a list of concepts being discussed next week.
